This document specifies the classification, smelting, forging, products and determination of driving gear forgings for rail transport, as well as the body sampling diagrams corresponding to gear forgings with different shapes. This document is applicable to the manufacturing and inspection of gear forgings used for traction drives on rail-oriented transportation equipment (high-speed EMUs, locomotives and urban rail trains, etc.). Other gear forgings with high reliability requirements and similar appearances and dimensions can also be used for reference.
